Billy attended Texas Southern University where he concentrated in General Education. Billy also attended the Lost Angeles County Sheriff's Academy in 1976 where he completed a six month course. After completing the Sheriff's Academy, Billy chose to embark in the entertainment security field as opposed to law enforcement, and began working for the County of Los Angeles, Department of Parks and Recreation.

In September of 1978, Billy was offered the opportunity to make a career change and became the personal assistant and personal security for Stevie Wonder, conducting all of Mr. Wonder's affairs and security for over ten years.

Billy has provided an impeccable career in both executive protection and security coordination. He has provided his services for some of the largest and most influential entertainers in the industry, including Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Paul McCartney, Madonna, Whitney Houston (from 1991 to 1999), and was the Head of Security for The Backstreet Boys for five years.

All in all, Billy brings over 25 years of experience and knowledge to B&B Associates and The Spenser Group.
